SPECTRA WINGTIP LIGHTNING
The Spectra™ wingtip lighting is an iconic design with a simultaneous two times increase in brightness. The automatic wingtip illumination - the so-called "glow" - operates up to 300 feet above the surface and above 300 feet automatically switches to a function that maximizes visibility to others, pulsing "wig-wag," giving the G6 an unmistakable presence anywhere in the world, day or night.

CUFFED WING
Thanks to its sophisticated aerodynamic shape combined with the power units' performance, Cirrus outperforms other aircraft in its category in terms of flight speed. However, one of the issues during development was how to achieve excellent flight characteristics even at lower speeds. The result is a wing composed of two profiles. One profile (closer to the wing root) allows smooth flight at higher speeds, while the other profile (further from the wing root) provides excellent flight characteristics and manoeuvrability at lower speeds.
